Shizen Jambor is an artist and writer of Chinese-Thai and European settler descent based on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. Her practice spans writing, video, sculpture, and installation to investigate and satirize mythologies around labour and constructions of identity. Theatrics, comedy, and visual metaphor are important elements in her work. She uses these elements to explore performativity and the interchange between language and ideology. Jambor graduated from ECUAD with a BFA in Visual Arts in 2017.
